06-01-2015 LIFT helped facilitate the shipment of 3 tons of Oral Rehydration Salts, (ORS), donated by MAP International, from the US to the World Health Organization, (WHO), in Kathmandu to support their WASH activities in Nepal after the 7.6 magnitude quake struck Nepal on April 25, 2015. Airlink, SCAN Shipping and Cathay Pacific Cargo Airlines all participated in this Herculean effort.
05-25-2015 We are proud to say that we participated in Americares’ efforts to support the World Health Organization (WHO) after the Nepal earthquake by assisting with the shipment of 10 tons of medical aid from the U.S. to Nepal. This vital humanitarian aid cargo was carried aboard Qatar Airways from JFK in cooperation with Airlink and SCAN Shipping.
04.19.2015 – In support of the Ministry of Health in Liberia, Medisend, The WFP, ALAN, CH Robinson,Maersk, and Kestrel Liner Agencies, LIFT assisted in the shipment of two 40’ containers of donated humanitarian aid to Liberia to assist their on-going efforts to strengthen the Liberian healthcare infrastructure after the recent Ebola Virus Disease outbreak.
