LIFT was founded as a not-for-profit logistics provider for fellow 501c3 foundations and other Non-Government Organizations responding to disasters. We pride ourselves on being able to deliver the impossible in trying times. LIFT is an organization that affords responders access to: general aviation aircraft, heavy jets, helicopters, small & large vessels and ground transportation to bring people and cargo to disaster sites. We strive to deliver these assets to NGO’s for free or at a reduced cost whenever possible.

Mission Statement:

To effectively assist in the transportation of first-responders, relief workers and their cargoes to disaster sites.

Air

LIFT prides itself on providing free or below market air transportation of first responders, medical teams, humanitarian aid workers as well as their cargoes to disaster sites. We work closely with partners in the corporate and general aviation community in an effort to provide lift to qualified groups responding in times of crisis.

LIFT prides itself on providing free or below market ground transportation of relief cargo to disaster sites. We work closely with partners including major trucking companies and local truckers in order to provide free or below market ground transportation of relief goods to disaster sites.

03.27.2015 – In concert with YachtAid Global, LIFT assisted with YAG’s humanitarian response efforts after Typhoon Pam devastated the small island nation of Vanuatu on March 14th, 2015.

02.10.15 – In cooperation with Airlink, Nippon Cargo Airlines…

02.10.15 – In cooperation with Airlink, Nippon Cargo Airlines and the WFP Logistics Cluster, LIFT was able to move 44 pallets of humanitarian from the United States to Sierra Leone for six consignees battling the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.

02.06.15 – LIFT, with support from WFP, Maersk…

02.06.15 – LIFT, with support from WFP, Maersk, Geodis-Wilson, Scan Shipping and Kestrel Liner agencies, was able to facilitate the shipment of two 20′ containers of bleach donated by the NYC-OEM through the AFYA Foundation to the Ministry of Health in Sierra Leone to help contain the Ebola epidemic in West Africa.

01.27.15 – With the support of UPS, the WFP Logistics Cluster and Airlink, LIFT was able to help facilitate the shipment of 13 pallets of humanitarian aid for the IOCC and NOSLINA from Baltimore to Freetown for the benefit of the Sierra Leonean Ministry of Health.

01.12.15 – We are proud to announce that LIFT played an instrumental role in the shipment of 63 tons of aid cargo from Miami to Monrovia Liberia, aboard a Western Global MD-11 in support of the Academic Consortium Combating Ebola in Liberia. This donation of medical supplies and the transportation of same were funded by the Paul G. Allen Foundation.
